This machine came in with plenty of problems:
Wells Gardner LCD Blown (Replaced with Weiya M3129D)
Force Feedback Controller Blown (OPA541AP chips)
FF Motor wired backwards
Bad Steering Pot
Melted Coin Reject Button
No Keys and a Locked Coin Door Lockbar
Dead PCB Battery
I also upgraded the Hard Disk to a CF Adapter
This was the trace for the outhole kicker on a Bally .
And this is the repair.
It must have been a smelly fire.
Two nice machines came in for shops and repairs. Between the two of them, they have lain idle for over 20 years. Their rest is almost over!
A couple of new machines came into the shop today. They will require minor repairs & Shop jobs.
This machine came in the shop some time ago. It was not booting, but after manipulating the conncector, I got the board to come up with the following images on the display:
