I had to send out the deflection board to someone with more skills than me. He ended up giving me a different board so I don’t feel so bad that I couldn’t fix it.

ETA (3/4/2016) These have all been sold! Thanks.
These are all that remain. Some are really nice others are pretty beat. $20 if you pick them $40 if you want one shipped. $30 for the second or more shipped. No export. Lower 48 only.
This one has been down for 14 years. It will be back home and playing well tomorrow.
I stumbled across this technical history on my favorite game of all time:
I just love this game for all the reasons in the article. It is my hope to one day have 6 or 8 seats in a climate-controlled trailer to rent out. Even though Mario Kart would probably be a better candidate, I love Alcatraz so much that I would choose it over an even more profitable game. I owned a pair of these and sold them to a local guy 2 years ago. There is one at Bones arcade here in Billings that has crappy steering but is otherwise good. And I just finished up repairing a customer’s machine that will be found in Thermopolis Wyoming soon.
In the meantime, I’m testing, testing, testing……
This machine came in with plenty of problems:
Wells Gardner LCD Blown (Replaced with Weiya M3129D)
Force Feedback Controller Blown (OPA541AP chips)
FF Motor wired backwards
Bad Steering Pot
Melted Coin Reject Button
No Keys and a Locked Coin Door Lockbar
Dead PCB Battery
I also upgraded the Hard Disk to a CF Adapter
This was the trace for the outhole kicker on a Bally .
And this is the repair.
It must have been a smelly fire.
Two nice machines came in for shops and repairs. Between the two of them, they have lain idle for over 20 years. Their rest is almost over!
Stern monopoly pinball machine will be headed back to Thermopolis, Wyoming shortly.
I just picked this up at auction. It has a 13″ hitachi monitor with the neckboard snapped in half because the monitor was loose during transporation to the auction. This beautiful cabinet will be converted to a multi-game if someone doesn’t save it from it’s fate. Does anyone need a Trivia Whiz JAMMA board? Keywords: Billings Montana Video arcade cabinet For Sale
